How to Read G in Morse Code
The letter G has three signal elements in a fixed order: a dash, a dash, then a dot. Read it as dah-dah-dit. Each dash lasts three time units, the dot lasts one unit, and each gap inside the letter lasts one unit.
Keep the two dashes full length. The final dot snaps the letter shut, which is what makes G sound different from M.

How to Send G with Sound, Tapping, or Light
The medium can change, but the pattern stays the same: two long signals followed by one short signal.
Sound
Play two beeps three times as long as a dot, pause briefly, then play one short beep. The result should sound like dah-dah-dit.
Tapping
Hold two longer taps for the dashes, then tap once quickly. Keep the gaps between signals shorter than the pause after the letter.
Light
Hold the light for two long flashes, then flash briefly. Give both dashes the same full length.
A dot is one unit. A dash is three units. Each gap inside G is one unit. Learn the complete timing and spacing rules in the Learn Morse guide.
